- Food, whether self-catered or through a hostel meal plan
- Local transport to and from campus
- Study materials, laboratory or field costs where applicable
- Health cover and routine medical costs
- Mobile data and internet
- Visa-related costs and document processing
- A contingency reserve for the first two months
Why we do not quote a monthly figure
A single national figure would be misleading. Costs in central Kathmandu differ from those in smaller cities, and institution-arranged housing changes the picture entirely. Ask us for a written estimate against a specific programme and city and we will obtain current numbers from the institution.
